Yay for spring! The sun is shining. These mild temps are perfect! I’m so thrilled to be able to put away my winter boots and bring out some cute flats! Especially these adorable Arche metallic Lilly flats from Zappos! I received them recently, and I’m loving the fun material and the whimsical cutout detail. Plus, they are so incredibly comfortable. I could walk for hours and hours in these! Definitely perfect shoes for spring… and to bring right into summer!

Read MoreHappy (finally) spring! Well... at least here in Michigan. Last week, we suffered through an awful ice storm and SNOW that actually stuck around for days. Needless to say, I took a week off from taking pictures, posting here, and posting on IG. I just couldn't bring myself to put on a happy face during those dark, dark times. Hahaha. But here we are! It was actually over 70º today. So nuts. But I'm so grateful. The sunshine, warm wind, mild temperatures... it's giving me life! I love winter, and I get that I live in Michigan where it's winter the majority of the year, but to have snow and ice into the end of April is SO depressing. Glad spring has finally come around!

Hi friends! I'm slacking on this challenge (I think it ended days ago, haha) but just like everything else... I'm moving along at my own pace! I'm going to blog five outfits total from the challenge, and then do a little recap at the end with ALL the looks I wore/planned. As much as I'd love to blog/take photos everyday, there's just no way it's going to happen. Between my full-time job and my workout schedule, I really appreciate days where I can just head home afterwards, put on my comfy pants, and chill out in bed with a book or some Netflix! Onto outfit #2 of the spring 10x10 challenge! I knew I'd love this outfit, because I love each of the pieces so much on their own. I recently purchased these Levi's wedgie fit jeans from Zappos. They are the total mom jean, and I love them. I am officially a mom without a baby at this point. It's okay. I've accepted it. I'm typically in bed by 9pm. My idea of a good time is a comfy booth with a glass of wine, or some purple grapes while watching American Idol. I listen to a finance podcast everyday. Dang, my thirties are awesome. I have no shame. I love this decade so far! Hahaha.

I'm a couple of days behind... but here's my first outfit of the 10x10 challenge! Since we had some dry weather this weekend, I thought it'd be a good time to bring out this dress. I'm not sure what the weather is going to hold over the next week (looks like maybe some rain or snow) so I thought I'd knock this one out while I had the chance! Most of my looks will incorporate jeans (which are my usual anyway) so that'll be safer for cold weather! Even though it was 33º when we shot these photos. Brr! The three pieces from my 10x10 are this floral Madewell dress, my denim jacket, and my mules. For accessories, I paired my small tote, some cute earrings from Rebels Mark and my brimmed hat from Gigi Pip! (If you missed my intro to the 10x10, you can read it here!)

Almost Friday! This week flew, which is great, because I'm all about starting a new month. Especially one that is fully spring! I just love starting a new month of budgeting, a new month of goals, a new month of plans and fun. It's such an exciting time of year, and there are so many good things happening.
