Hi, hello! We're onto Monday, and thankfully it's already almost over. This past weekend was good for us! Friday night, Eric played a show so I stayed in, made a buffalo chicken salad, rented a movie, and binge-watched Gilmore Girls until falling asleep. Saturday, I did a little shopping at Lee & Birch for their fashion show on Thursday. I got a super cute floral dress... can't wait to show you guys! Saturday night, we met up with friends for dinner and to walk around the Eastown Street Fair. Sunday, I met up with a friend to see Home Again (so cute!) and then Eric and I headed to Donkey, for our first visit there this summer, which is SO weird for us! But it was a great weekend! (This outfit was from dinner with friends/street fair!)

My Keds Style

When it comes to my style lately, I’m pretty casual! Summer always does that to me anyway, but I love a casual, go-to outfit for these busy final summer days! A pair of classic white sneakers is perfectly that. I’m teaming up with Keds to style up a pair of their Champion Canvas Originals! These shoes pair perfectly with everything — a simple black dress for running errands, jeans and a chambray top for walking Winny around the neighborhood, or even paired with workout attire to wear to and from the gym! They’re super breathable and flexible, and I love how comfortable yet classic these shoes are. I’ll carry them right into autumn style!

September florals

Happy September, friends! I'm so excited for the new month... and the first month of autumn! Even though it's not technically autumn yet, it sure feels like it here in Michigan. Today was 65º, I had goosebumps in this dress and totally could have used a cardigan, and our heat kicked on for the first time of the season! I know, I'm sort of crazy to be this excited about summer ending (I truly do love summer), but I love autumn 10x more and it's so much shorter than the other seasons. So if we don't start it now, we get it cut short when it snows in late November/December. So autumn for me... is now! Give me all the apple and pumpkin spice everything!

Secret garden

Happy Wednesday! Phew, it's been a busy last couple of days. Jumping back to the weekend though, I hosted an event at Madewell in Ann Arbor! I always love visiting that city. Delicious food, fun places to visit, good shopping. The event went great! They served up chocolate covered pretzels and champagne. There was a 20% discount, and I did a little bit of damage to my checking account. Totally worth it! Autumn is my favorite time to shop. I'm always so inspired in this season. But this outfit is perfect for these final days of summer, and I can't wait to switch up this exact outfit with some ankle boots and a cardigan in the next couple of months.

It's still summer

Hey guys! So I failed on getting that second post up last week, didn't I? Haha, oh well. We spent a day at the beach, and it was perfect. I finally got to go swimming in Lake Michigan! But, I'm here now with another outfit in collab with Lee & Birch to promote their upcoming event, Runway off Wealthy! They only have a handful of general admission tickets left, so if you're interested in going, be sure to head over there and get those ASAP! It's going to be a great local event supporting Kids' Food Basket! DJ Adrian Butler will be there, along with yummy drinks and bites, friends, and fashion. I'm really looking forward to it!

Happy Saturday! It's rare I post on the weekends, but I set a goal for posting at least 2x a week... so if I don't blog today and tomorrow, I won't hit that goal. And 2x a week is too easy to just say "nah", so here I am. Weekend blogging! I'm styling up another outfit in collab with local boutique, jb and me. This outfit is pretty simple, but I love the funky bell sleeves that really add to this dress! Plus, these boots are QUALITY! This was one of the most humid days (literally curled my hair 30 minutes before this) so this dress was just a tad hot, but come autumn, it'd be perfect!
