Happy almost Friday! We're so close to the weekend, guys. One more day. We can do it. Friday night, we don't have any plans, and those are sometimes my favorite nights to just go out to dinner, maybe see a movie, or grab a drink with friends. Saturday, I'm headed to Muskegon for a project I'm working on (can't wait to share), and then Sunday I'm planning on catching up on ALL the spring cleaning. I signed up for another Apartment Therapy list, and I'm pretty behind right now, so I have some major catching up to do! It's supposed to be perfect weather (60s and sunshine) and I can't wait to brunch, open the windows, clean, and get ready for another new week. We'll be onto the last week of April. Where did this month go?!

Happy Monday! Did you guys have a good weekend? We sure did! The weather here has been absolutely beautiful, and everything is almost in full bloom. It's SO pretty outside. I seriously "ooh" and "ahh" over every flowering tree. I just love transitional seasons! Those pesky April showers really did pay off. This past weekend, we kept it pretty low-key, spent time with friends, went grocery shopping, took my Dad out to lunch for his birthday, visited my Mom, and hosted Eric's family for Easter. It was mildly successful, except I almost sent the smoke alarms off with burning ham and swiss sliders... so let's just say those didn't turn out. For a person who wants everything to be "perfect" always, laughing and wafting out the smoke with his family will always be a favorite memory. That's even better than being "perfect"!

Hello friends! Halfway through the week! I can't believe Wednesday is already almost over. This week absolutely flew. We're finally seeing spring temperatures, and I'm so happy about it. This past weekend was beautiful! We got out to enjoy it a little bit, took Winny to the dog park, and met up with a few friends to drink beers on an outdoor patio. I'm so ready for consistent warmth and sunshine, but I won't lie... I'm loving these warm thunderstorms we've been getting. Plus, all of a sudden, overnight (seriously), everything bloomed. We have a small tree in our backyard that whenever that blooms... to me, spring is officially here. It's in bloom! And can we just celebrate the first outfit post of the year with bare legs? YAY!

Happy April! Seriously, as soon as the sun peeked out today, I told Eric, "Let's go to dinner, let's take photos, let's get outside!" We had such a beautiful weekend, but I feel like we've been stuck with some gross, very gray, rainy days lately, and I'm feeling over it. I keep telling myself "April showers bring May flowers" but man, I'm ready more than ever for warm temperatures and sunshine! Spring is here though, April is here, and we're so close! I'm really looking forward to the next several months. Tulip festival, carnivals, long days, outdoor patios, it's sounds like heaven!

Ahh, golden hour. It's seriously my favorite hour of the day. I only wish I was enough of a morning person to enjoy the first golden hour of the day, but at least I always enjoy the last! I also just love that we have sunlight so late now. Sunset is at 8pm! It's been so nice getting out of work to a full three hours left of daylight. Plus the weather is starting to feel like spring, and I think I'm almost ready to fully put away my giant winter parka and winter boots. Who knows though in Michigan... we could have a snowstorm tomorrow! Don't worry, I'm knocking on wood. I really really hope that doesn't happen!

Happy Monday! I was sort of ready to get going in a new week today. Weird, I know. We had such a beautiful spring day on Friday (when I was stuck at work) and then it rained all weekend long, which was kind of a bummer! I really do love rain in spring though... April showers bring May flowers! Can you believe we're approaching April this weekend already? Phew! March was a really good month. I feel accomplished even though I didn't hit all of my goals, and we're just inching closer and closer to continuous warmth and sunshine. Can't complain about that! But let's talk about more important things... like my new favorite dress.
